Decorate shopping bags with small creatures made from finger paint for fabric. Make the figures with thumb prints which are either in groups or separately. Add personality with textile markers.

1 Place a piece of card inside the bag to prevent paint from penetrating through to the back of the bag. Dab a thumb directly into the paint and make a print.
2 You may dab paint onto your thumb using a foam stencil brush before making the print. A tip: it's easier to achieve an even print when using a foam stencil brush for applying paint onto your thumb.
3 Add character to the thumb prints using textile markers when the paint is dry.
4 Place a piece of baking paper on top of your finished designs and fix with an iron.
Another variant You may use the entire palm of your hand for making a hand print on the shopping bag.
