Glass Paint on a Lantern decorated with Seed Beads on silver Wire

Each of the lanterns are decorated with a letter, made with Transfer Glass Color paint. Rocaille seed beads threaded onto a piece of aluminium wire are tied around the rim at the top.

1. Thread rocaille seed beads onto a thin piece of aluminium wire which is then tied onto the top rim of the glass lantern.
2. Print the template for making the letters illustrated here, which is available as a separate PDF file for this idea. Place the template underneath the motive foil and use Transfer Glass Color black contour for drawing the outline. Leave to dry for two hours.
3. Fill in the letter with Transfer Glass Color paint in your chosen colour. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
4. Carefully remove the design/letter from the foil, moisten it and place it on the glass lantern. Allow to dry for 12 hours. Fix it in the oven for 45 minute at 160°C to make it diswasher safe at a low temperature.
