How to tie alternating square knots

Learn this macramé technique irrespective of whether you are new to macramé or whether you are on the look out for a new technique. Choose cord suitable for macramé; not elastic cord. This technique is called ”alternating square knots” consisting of square knots in horizontal rows, alternating the cords in every other row; i.e. two half-knots commonly made with four cords.
