A Pencil Case and a Purse decorated with iron-on Foil and Textile Markers

1   Cut out small designs from iron-on foil with a glitter effect. The top layer of the iron-on foil is covered by a special thick plastic protective layer. This stays in place for protecting the fabric when ironing the iron-on foil designs onto fabric.

2   Start by placing the cut-out iron-on foil design on top of your chosen fabric item. Draw details with textile markers and leave to dry.

3   Remove the iron-on foil design and place a piece of baking paper on top of your fabric item. Warm up your fabric with an iron to ensure good adhesion on the area where you want to attach your iron-on foil design and also fixing the textile marker designs.

4   Place your iron-on foil design on the fabric item with the special thick plastic protective layer facing up. Place a piece of baking paper on top and iron the iron-on foil design onto the fabric. Press lightly to ensure that the iron-on foil is melted onto the fabric.

5   Remove the thick protective plastic layer after a couple of seconds.
