Toadstool hanging decorations made from self-hardening clay

Make these small toadstools from self-hardening clay. Use terracotta coloured clay for the toadstool's cap and use white clay for the stem. Assemble the toadstool with an eye pin which serves as a loop for the string for hanging.

1 Model the toadstool's cap from terracotta-coloured self-hardening clay. Model the toadstool's stem from white self-hardening clay to a size that fits the size of the cap.
2 Make the gills underneath the cap using modelling tools, making lines outwards from the middle.
3 Assemble the toadstool by pushing
the eye pin through the toadstool's cap and down through the stem.
4 Make spots from white self-hardening clay and push them gently onto the toadstool's cap.
5 Thread a piece of natural hemp through the loop of the eye pin and finish by tying a knot.
