Un oiseau plié dans du papier

1.   Fold a square piece of paper (14 x 14cm) twice diagonally and twice halfway. Then unfold completely.

2.   Fold the paper to a ¼ square with the openings at the bottom.

3.   From both sides, fold the top layer towards the centre line and back again.

4.   Fold down the top tip, so that a triangle appears. Unfold again.

5.   Lift up the bottom tip and fold in the sides, so that a diamond shape appears. Fold in the triangle behind, so that you can lay your work flat and smooth it. Repeat on the opposite side.

6.   Now you have a double tip with two individual tips at the bottom.

7.   Pull each tip up between the wings, so that they slope gently upwards. Press flat.

8.   Fold down one tip in between, so the bird's head appears.

9.   Fold the wings down and the bird is “ready to fly”.
