A two-part papier-mâché egg decorated with Plus Color craft paint and deco foil

1 Paint the egg with Plus Color craft paint.

2 Varnish the egg with decoupage lacquer when dry.

3 Cut borders and designs free from the glue foil sheet.

4 Remove the plastic layer.

5 Rub the glue foil border onto the egg with a bone folder until the glue is securely attached onto the egg.

6 Remove the glue foil plastic sheet with the transferred glue design from the egg.

7 Place the deco foil on top of the glue design and rub on the deco foil firmly with the bone folder. Carefully pull off the deco foil. The glue foil design is now covered by the deco foil; i.e. the deco foil has transferred onto the glue foil design.

8 Place the small cut-out designs from the glue foil sheet onto the egg. It's easier to handle if you just attach one glue foil design at a time.

9 Place the deco foil on top of the glue design, rub with a bone folder and carefully pull off the deco foil. Continue like this until you have decorated the egg how you want it.

Another variant Attach masking tape onto the egg so that you can paint the egg in two colours.

Another variant Paint both ends of the egg in two different colours and decorate afterwards with deco foil.
