Crocheted Flowers

1. Crochet 4 chain stitches.

2. Make a ring by finishing with a slip stitch in the first chain stitch.

3. Crochet 10 double crochet stitches around the ring and finish with a slip stitch.

4. In the next round crochet 2 double crochet stitches into each stitch. Finish with a slip stitch.

5. Change to a different colour yarn and crochet 1 double crochet stitch into each stitch all the way around. Finish with a slip stitch.

6. In the next round crochet 4 chain stitches, skip 2 double crochet stitches and crochet down with a slip stitch. Repeat all the way around the ring, making 10 arches in total.

7. Crochet in each arch: 1 double crochet stitch, a 1/2 basic treble stitch, 3 basic treble stitches, a 1/2 basic treble stitch, 1 double crochet stitch. Follow this procedure for all the arches all the way around the ring. Finish with a slip stitch in the first stitch of the round.

8. Finish the flower with a row of chain stitches along the border in the same colour as the colour used in the middle of the flower.
