Des bougeoirs moulés avec des formes en relief

Ces bougeoirs sont faits avec du béton d'artisanat coulé dans des verres en plastique en guise de moules. Avant le moulage, des formes en caoutchouc mousse sont fixées à l'intérieur des verres en plastiques pour obtenir du relief une fois le moulage terminé.

Comment faire
1 Line the inside of each plastic cup with designs cut from self-adhesive foam rubber.
2 Concrete mixture: Mix 6 parts of Concrete Craft powder to 1 part of water. Mix well and leave for approx. 2 min.
3 Pour the concrete mixture into the mould and leave for approx. 5 min. NB! Unlike papier-mâché moulds, it is not necessary to coat this mould with cooking oil prior to casting. You may choose to do so, in order to easily release the moulded shape when dry.
4 Push a small metal candle holder for either long candles or tea lights into the concrete mixture. Leave to dry for 24 hours. A TIP: Fill it with beads to prevent the small metal candle holder from being pushed upwards by the concrete when hardening.
5 Remove the shape from the mould.
6 NB! The finished candle holder will benefit from hardening for 24-48 hours before using.
