Tie-and-dye bag

A ready-made bag which is tie-dyed in a water bath. The pattern is made by twisting rubber bands around the fabric. It’s fun and easy. Coconut buttons are sewn on as decoration.

The tie-dye bath is made as follows:
Dissolve 1kg of fine salt in 10 liters of water at 30-60 degrees centigrade. Add 100ml dye colour. Then add 200g Fix medium dissolved in a little water. (For this example we have used approx. 1/3). Wet the bag and put it in the bath for approx. 1 hour. Stir frequently.
